Can you hear the buzz??
Can you hear the keyboard typing furiously at this moment??
I can.
OH MY FREAKIN GOD.
It's even in The New Paper today.
WHY.WHY.WHY
I read the questions over and over and over.
Apparently i thought i was still in fairyland aka dreaming.
What a bloody blunder.
Please don't tarnish whatever reputation that's left.
But oh well. *shrugs*
It was kinda funny actually.
Everyone was complaining about the problem after the paper.
"eh, am i the only one who realise there's a problem in section c??", i messaged my friend.
"ehh..thought it was the weber question?? how come like that ahh??"
Great answer.
I was laughing and smiling to my friends about the mistake, in relief, not confidence, admist all the black aka orh orh faces. HA! That made me laugh even more.
SO!
I went home, amazingly calm, and checked the exam reports.
"There will not be any changes in the format for the examination paper in 2007."
YESss.
There IS a mistake afterall.
On msn, it was noisy.
Like an online party, except everyone was questioning and grumbling.
So, i have this friend, don't wanna reveal who in case he chanced upon this blog, let's just call him *Brian. I always have a good image of guys named Brian. Except, he isn't really good looking. So let's just have an imaginary eye candy for a moment.
He's a super, and i do mean SUPER, mugger.
So we are like arguing if there is a mistake in section c, or maybe there are some hidden conspiracy. And you know what, he actually DID convince me that there WASN'T anything wrong. And that made me perspire like siao. I was panicking, and cursing anyone that came across my mind, basically my sociology lecturer for not teaching us what Weber's power holding and all that shite.
But now, ha eat your words! I KNEW IT.
To those who haven't got the chance to see the message they post on the student portal, here it is,
PSOC Examination Question Paper
Dear Students who sat for the Principles of Sociology exam on 15 May,
We are aware that Section C of the exam only provided a choice of 4 questions when there were supposed to be six and the last question on Organisations which students should answer was one of the two questions missing from the exam paper.
The LSE became aware of the situation only after SIM told them yesterday evening. Apparently there was a printing error when the paper was produced in London. The printing error was not picked up and affected candidates in Singapore, Hong Kong and a few other countries. We are all sorry that this happened. It really should not have. The University will issue a statement about this on the UOL website later today or tomorrow.
Mrs Gosling would like to assure students that no one will be disadvantaged. She has asked me to express her concern and that she hopes students will stay focused on your other papers and do well in your other exams. Don't worry about the Sociology paper now that it is over. Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Sylvia Yeo (Ms)

I'm switching on the gas now as we speak.
But i'll die after my IBM exam.
So, farewell my fellow homo sapiens.
