Wow. The Beijing Olympics opening ceremony is simply spectacular isnt it??

A whopping 33 billion spent just for the "Bird's Nest" stadium.

Not that i can remember the ceremonies of the other olympics anyway. lol.



Not that i really care about the olympics, but it's really smashing isnt it??

And the theme song sang by Sarah Brightman and Liu Hua is still rhyming in my head at the moment. Really beautiful. *Sigh* The beauty of vocals on earth.

Now reallly back to topic.

So i was catching the men gymnastics on channel U on sat and because the tv has a loud volume the previous night,

i was immediately greeted by

WWHHHOOOOAA AWWWWW!

And my first reaction was like,

"gee! relax people! what did i do?!"

Nice. The art of perfect timing.

It was then that i realise that this guy from korea took a bad fall on his knees after missing the bar when he was turning in mid air. And when he tried the second time, he bloody fell againnn!

Awwww.

I can see his puppy eyes when he attempted the 3rd time.

And i must say, morale in the team is a really important thing.

Cos, the 2nd guy, his team mate fell too!

And i didnt realise i was covering my mouth and yelling "OMG!" to myself until the 3rd guy completed his turn. hahaha. But he didnt do a flip in mid air and only twirl around the bar to play it safe for his team.

Like why do people have this kind of reactions all the bloody time when people make a slip or something. I guess it's obvious that athletes REALLY did put in a lot of effort just for the few minutes of the do-or-die thing that really empathizes people.

Or maybe people just felt the pain of his knees. Ooouch!

*SIGH*
