5th of November. Singapore time.
12.45pm.
History was made.

4th of November. U.S time.
11pm.
History was made.

Wherever you are, history has cast its precious stamp, at least for the current century that you are living in.

I can imagine newspapers undergoing the busy schedule of printing now for fresh coverage tomorrow morning, journalists camping in their offices with their sidekicks and computers busy updating and reporting on the results of the most exciting (at least to me, at least as far as i can remember anyways) presidential election of the year, and bloggers worldwide typing furiously in their blog-o-sphere to air their views. Yes, i'm jumping on the bandwagon as well. No reason why. I just have to.

Change people.

That's the bloody key word that drives this whole campaign, if not to propel Barack Obama to victory. Change to rescue the worst financial crisis. Change to rectify the seemingly unresolved war still ongoing in Iran and Iraq, change to save the planet plunging into a peril situation. Just look at the headlines in our newspaper. We are bombarded with the discouraging news of stock prices skyrocketing to choking levels, banks with hundreds of years of history being crumpled to dust, developing countries trapped in tension for unexpected natural disasters, contaminated food products claiming lives and trust, and back to earth, Singaporeans complaining about everything, Especially the minibonds and high notes 5. Seems like reading it from a book or watching a movie isnt it.

Although, i must admit, in my personal opinion, that majority of the people who blindly throw their life savings in such investments (mostly the elder generation, if not all) shouldnt cast the FULL blame to the financial advisors at all. THEY choose to put all their eggs in one basket. THEY choose to presume that "low risk means NO risk". So how. Suffer lohh.
No answers for the credibility of the advisors though.

ZZZzzz. Falling alsleep yet? lol.

I supported Obama all along because the minute John McCain chose to speak that he advocates the movement and policies of Bush, i knew his judgement was flawed. Bush's administration is perhaps one of the worse leadership i've seen. An example? Just look at the current war situation. Always a classic example. Controversial? Yes. Resolved? Hell no! And it's draining resources, much less the taxpayers moolah aka money, and thousands of americans who are waiting vainly for the return of their soldier family stationed there.

And to not be moved by his speech. Omg. His speech makes me speechless! John McCain's isnt too bad either. But Obama's inspiring.

Enough words. Take a look yourselves.

McCain's concede speech.

Now now, he did put up a commendable fight for his policies against his opponent. So i respect him albeit the choice of Palin as his vice-president candidate. lol. The look of disappointment of the voters makes me go, "aww". No reason. I just have to.

And now, our change.
The transition at Chicago Grant Park.

A-mazing. Period.

The best 44th presidential election. Ever!

Yes, the hormones during pms can do great wonders such as make you type politics in blogs.

Yes my baby, you speak the language of shooting stars.
Over the rainbow, that's where you'll find me waiting for you.
This desire so inexplicable, I thought I never loved.
Until, you have taken me completely over.
