So yeah. It's been a month since my last update. So kill me.
Anyway, i'm baaack (in californian arnold schwarzenegger terminator now the current governor kinda accent).
So few weeks back, (omg time passes really fast)
I crashed one of Ester Loh's corporate finance lecture, two actually, cos i'm not from her class and didnt know her teaching pace, and i was really amused.
Not by her teaching skills, as many have had complained about,
but by her teaching Method.
I can see her enthusiasm in finance, as evident by her mouth open widely with every finance term, eyes staring at her notes and scribbling them, inking hard on the papers, and her well, method of explaining.
She can get a tat longwinded, which i interpret as being detailed in explanations, going through the pre-steps in arriving at equations and concepts, which is probably why many students complain that they get "lost" in her train of thoughts. Honestly, you've no idea what lost is until u get lost in the tv series LOST. It freakin' ridiculous.
OK, back to topic. Nothing wrong with her teaching in my opinion, she is a good lecturer actually. Johnny Tan's just more precise and gets to the point in the best summary form, hence, duped as the "CF guru".
But well, that doesnt mean i'm a big fan of hers now. I am just entertained by the array of different personalities portrayed by different lecturers style of teaching. Like Phil. Stephenson's mumblings and his dry humour, the all time favourite Nageb's extremely crappy yet somehow very knowledgable balding head of his, Frances' eye-rolling kinda funny, and in this case, Ester's overly enthusiatic - like she's in her world - as if she's dangerously going to explode way of teaching.
You see, this is the image that somehow creeps into my mind everytime she becomes more and more dramatic with every sentence.

Somehow, i have feeling i'm goin to miss all of this when i graduate.
But then, a question pops in my head. If, and if i ever want and able to, become a lecturer in the future, what will be my teaching style be like? Hmmmmm.
People, bring on the popcorns please.
