Been there, done that.
Withdrawal symptoms.
Someone told me it's perfectly normal.
Jet lag.
Someone told me it's perfectly normal too.
But undergoing 2 transitions at once.
First being back to Singapore's culture.
Second being thrown into adulthood workforce, pronto.
Someone told me it's especially stressful for me.
And yes, it's kinda true.
I need to check into rehab soon.
Time is all that will cure the alterations.
Boy,
Isnt life just interesting.
They say the trip might change your perspective in life.
And boy oh boy oh boy,
it sure did.
It makes you realise how small Singapore really is in the big old world.
And it dawns upon you how small you really are.
So I was on my first grocery shopping after the trip with my parents yesterday,
and this lady queuing up in front of us totally made my day.
The poor tired and beat up cashier simply fast forward the conveyor belt a lil too fast,
resulting in the lady's packet of eggs to fall a bit.
And she literally jumped up,
typical as she was, she went "aiyo!"
HAHAHAHA.
The gestures of locals just kinda crack me up since.
Singaporeans are a cute bunch indeed.
