So here i am.
Munching on pringles (pop!) chips with shrimp flavour.
At 3.55 am.
Whoo how interesting.
It's been quite some time since i encounter such weird food.
Seems like it's forever and foreign somehow.
Just touched down at 845pm tonight.
Man, i'm finally home.
And i must say,
Jet lag can be a killer.
It silently creeps up inside you.
Stalks you when you are awake.
Leavin your heart pounding and tummy yellin for food in the middle of the night for a supposed day on the other side of the earth.
Mess up your time line and body clock.
And then scares you from behind and lets it ring out loud.
So this is it.
Snap snap.
Here comes reality.
Here comes becoming a typical OL walking briskly down the escalator with the heels knocking against the steps announcing, your majesty, the arrival.
Or frowning at the occasional squeezy mrt trains suring peak hours.
Or having to chop seats with tissue paper and joining the great singapore queue for the lunch rush hour.
Omg.
No, that's not just reality.
It's hell.
A rude shock from a culture i loved in Albany.
Where almost everyone is friendly.
Where almost every car gives way when you cross the street.
Where everyone respects your freedom.
Damn.
I wish i can sleep forever.
I would not want to open my eyes.
Jet lag.
It's a killer indeed.
